The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt) is one of Amazon’s key Emerging Markets. Amazon runs several High Velocity Sale Events (HVEs) each year, including Ramadan, Eid, Prime Day, 11.11, and White Friday, offering customers compelling value while supporting sellers across the region. These tent-pole events play a critical role in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and long-term growth for Amazon in MENA.
We are looking for a Program Manager to support the planning, execution, and performance tracking of these large-scale events. This role will work closely with the Events team to coordinate key milestones, monitor event performance, and ensure strong cross-functional alignment across Marketing, Category, Finance, Operations, and Tech teams.
The Program Manager will play an important role in maintaining operational excellence across the events program. This includes tracking deliverables across multiple stakeholders, supporting in performance analysis, identifying trends in customer and business metrics, and helping translate insights into actionable recommendations. The role requires strong organization, analysis, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical and data-driven, structured in their approach to problem solving, and comfortable working with data to understand performance drivers. They will demonstrate strong ownership of their workstreams, clear written and verbal communication, and a willingness to dive deep to support the team in delivering high-impact customer events.
Key job responsibilities
1. Event Program Coordination: Support the planning and execution of High Velocity Events across UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt by tracking key workstreams, milestones, and dependencies. Maintain structured tracking mechanisms to ensure teams are aligned on timelines, deliverables, and event readiness. Identify risks early, escalate blockers where required, and support the resolution of operational issues to keep programs on track.
2. Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Analyze event performance across key business metrics using Excel and internal tools. Work with large datasets, build reusable templates, and support recurring reporting to monitor performance throughout the event lifecycle. Conduct structured analysis to identify performance drivers, highlight gaps vs. plan, and provide data-backed insights to inform decision-making. SQL experience is a plus.
3. Reporting & Insights: Create and maintain performance dashboards, reports, and event recaps to provide visibility on key metrics and outcomes. Support the preparation of leadership updates by synthesizing insights and highlighting key trends.
4. Process Improvement & Automation: Partner with Business Intelligence teams to improve reporting processes, test new tools, and support automation of recurring analyses. Help document best practices and continuously improve internal event processes and playbooks.
5. Stakeholder Coordination: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Category, Finance, Operations, and Tech to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables. Facilitate clear communication across teams, track follow-ups, and support governance mechanisms through structured updates and reporting.
