The Sales Productivity team plays a critical role in supporting revenue growth across LexisNexis Risk Solutions. We serve as strategic partners to our sales teams, providing essential support and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance sales efficiency. About the Role:
The Program Manager – Events & Strategic Initiatives is a senior-level individual contributor responsible for the planning, execution, and effectiveness of high-impact corporate events and cross-functional programs that drive business outcomes. This role blends event leadership with enterprise program management, ensuring seamless delivery of both experiential and operational initiatives that align with company goals.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the position is to own the planning and execution of major annual events, such as: 1,000+ person Sales Kickoff and global sales incentive trips.Ensure events achieve business goals, meet stakeholder expectations, stay within budget, and provide a great attendee experience.Collaborate across business units, lead matrixed teams, interact with executive leadership, and partner with external vendors on all aspects of event execution end-to-end.Manage multimillion-dollar budgets with a focus on ROI, effectiveness, and innovation.Manage all aspects of vendor management including selection, contract negotiations, and compliance.Develop and deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations on program and event performance.Due to seasonality of events, the position also leads the planning and execution of strategic programs beyond events, including sales process improvement initiatives and strategic business transformations.Partner with senior leadership to define program objectives, success metrics, and governance structures.Manage program roadmaps, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies across multiple departments.Project manage selected initiatives as required.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Qualifications:
10+ years’ experience in project or program management in a large, complex business environment.5+ years’ experience in event planning.Proven success managing large-scale events and cross-functional programs in a corporate environment.Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.Strategic thinker with a passion for creating impactful experiences.Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity across complex initiatives.Adept at balancing creativity with operational excellence.Working for you:
