As the Rehabilitation Services Program Manager, you provide leadership to the CRWH admissions/administration team and CARF accreditation. You will lead and manage the planning, implementation, tracking, and reporting of high priority CRWH projects and goals and manage the goal of delivering projects on time and within budget and scope.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Lead the planning, resource allocation, implementation, communication, budget and evaluation of projectsMentor and educate staff on performance improvement methodologyWork collaboratively with the leadership team in strategic project selection and project prioritization. Responsible for developing and maintaining a project management tracking tool.Collaborate with IT in identifying tools to support project work and Rehabilitation Services operationsAct as a liaison for essential services and collaborate with other department representativesCollaborate with service line leadership on the development of business plansDevelop processes and tools for service line leaders to manage departmental/program projects independentlyFor identified projects/initiatives, develop, implement, and supervise the operation of processes and procedures which will increase efficiency, patient satisfaction, and decrease costs.Manage the activities of assigned employees. Assess competency of staff. Assume responsibility for scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, disciplinary actions, transfers, promotions, terminations, salary adjustments, hiring and training of new employees.Maintain standards to meet all requirements of CARF.Responsible for and oversee accrediting body surveys for the CRWH, e.g., CARF.Education and Experience Requirements:Master's Degree or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology; or Business or Health Care AdministrationAt least 5 years of experience in health careAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be substitutedProject Management experience in Healthcare setting requiredProject management, process improvement, data management, statistical analysis and computer experience requiredCertificate in Project Management (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma experience preferredChristianaCare offers:Incredible Work/Life benefits including medical/dental/ vision insurance coverage on your first day of employment, paid PTO, retirement plans, twelve weeks of paid parental leave, annual membership to care.com, access to backup care services for dependents through Care@Work, retirement planning services, financial coaching, fitness and wellness reimbursement, and great discounts through several vendors for hotels, rental cars, theme parks, shows, sporting events, movie tickets and much more!
