Amazon is seeking a Program Manager to support project planning and execution for the continued capacity expansion of our Global Fulfillment network. The primary role of this individual on the Project Management (PMO) team is to drive capacity projects to completion keeping them on schedule. Candidates will work with each phase of the project life cycle including build requirements, fulfillment design, planning, execution, and Launch/hand-off.
This individual will work with Capacity Planning partners to validate project requests, work with Engineering Design to coordinate proposals and milestone schedules, work with Procurement to help release purchase orders, and work with field teams to coordinate kick off meetings, and support with ongoing execution risk reporting & mitigation.
Key job responsibilities
- Facilitate/run weekly alignment meetings on network projects as well as program specific updates
- Partner with critical planning teams on project milestones (Real Estate, Capacity, Capital, Design, Startup, Robotics)
- Review Material Handling and Storage proposals for acceptable milestone schedules
- Update/maintain weekly network Engineering Project Tracker, and support Resource tracking
- Drive/follow up on milestone level delays
- Support Build Plan presentations
- Input and coordinate with Real Estate construction, Robotics, and Material Handling vendors on First Access details
- Initiate/facilitate major project kick-offs and support hand-off from planning teams to execution teams
- Escalate milestone level project issues that are impacting project schedules
- Report on engineering project updates to Senior Leadership, planning, and execution teams
- Provide Inputs and support on Program/Project Management tools and processes
- Miscellaneous support tasks (Project Data, Reporting, Whitepaper inputs, etc.)

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
