Program Manager, Transportation Network Losses
Amazon is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and results-oriented Transportation Network Losses and LM Reverse Operations Performance Manager to join the Reverse Logistics & Network Losses team. This role is critical to protecting the customer experience and reducing financial losses in Amazon's transportation network.
The professional will be responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end loss mitigation strategies across the network, as well as driving operational excellence in Last Mile (LM) reverse logistics operations.
This position requires cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders — including Transportation, Loss Prevention, ACES, Finance, and Customer Service — ensuring that performance metrics meet or exceed organizational goals.
The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with the ability to deliver data-driven insights, implement scalable process improvements that reduce network losses and increase reverse logistics efficiency, generating direct impact on P&L and customer experience.
If you are passionate about solving complex problems, working with data, and leading high-impact initiatives in a dynamic environment, this position is for you.

Key job responsibilities
• Own end-to-end Network Losses process improvement across transportation activities at country level
• Analyze process deviations to develop strategies minimizing losses from operational misses
• Partner with the central Network Losses team to implement tech enablement, metrics standardization, and review mechanisms
• Monitor loss performance metrics (shrinkage, Damages, DNR, MDR) and deep dive into root causes across Last Mile and Reverse Leg operations, developing corrective action plans
• Lead Kaizen events and root cause analysis sessions at site level, onboarding operational POCs, identifying process gaps, and defining site-specific corrective actions
• Own and optimize the Unified Reverse Logistics (URL) process at Last Mile delivery stations
• Monitor and optimize FC Handoff Losses in the reverse leg (Receive Losses, Square-off Losses, Partially Graded Shipments, FC Missing Shipments) and drive loss reduction through sweep compliance, missort rates, and square-off compliance monitoring
• Act as primary point of contact for Transportation Network Losses and LM Reverse Logistics at country level, representing the program in leadership reviews (QBR/MBR)
• Drive weekly/monthly performance reviews with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring clear escalation paths, action tracking, and accountability
• Quantify financial impact of all initiatives, tracking savings and cost avoidance against P&L targets and reporting to senior leadership

A day in the life
Your day centers on protecting the customer experience and reducing financial losses in Amazon's transportation network. You monitor dashboards, analyze metrics like shrinkage, damages, DNR, and MDR, and dive deep into deviations. You connect with Operations, Loss Prevention, ACES, and Customer Service to drive actions forward. In the field, you lead Kaizens at delivery stations, map reverse logistics gaps, and define corrective actions with owners and deadlines. Weekly, you review results with cross-functional stakeholders and communicate impact to senior leadership. Some days go beyond routine—designing mitigation strategies, deploying tech solutions, or scaling successes across clusters.
