Program Manager, Sustainment - Remote

**Job Description**
BAE Systems is hiring a Remote Program Manager, Sustainment to support our Combat Mission Systems (CMS) business. The Program Manager, Sustainment will oversee all aspects of projects relating to capture, negotiation, strategic planning, initiation, and execution of delivering spares, kits, special equipment, and services to the USG program customer or Sustainment agency.
Location/Travel/Schedule:
+ The position can be based out of CMS sites: Sterling Heights, Michigan; Minneapolis, Minnesota; York, Pennsylvania; Louisville, Kentucky; Phoenix, Arizona; or Aberdeen, South Dakota
+ This will be a Remote role where you will work from home and travel onsite monthly/quarterly, based on business needs
+ This position will require up to 10% travel
+ This role has a 9/80 schedule where you will have every other Friday off
Responsibilities:
+ Assist in managing, planning, and control of sustainment program
+ Monitor and manage the completion of deliverables and on-time delivery
+ Work across functional lines to meet the program objectives
+ Support achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and business performance objectives in accordance with the Integrated Business Plan (IBP)
+ Support development of program documentation including the Program Plan of Execution, Risk and Opportunity Management Plan, and other Life Cycle Management plans
+ Coordinate with the program team to maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and monitor program team s performance
+ Develops reports on key program metrics including on-time delivery, delivery forecasts, and performance to labor and material budgets
+ Assist in the identification and assessment of performance gaps to customer expectations or program objectives
+ Assist in the development and initiation of improvement plans to close gaps
+ Support status meetings with the program team and customer
+ Successfully navigate through cultural differences to understand unique stakeholder expectations, values, and priorities
+ Utilizes appropriate messages, channels, and resources to ensure effective communication to overcome barriers
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor s Degree and 6 years of experience or equivalent experience
+ Experience in Program/Project Management
+ Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related
+ Experience in Manufacturing, Defense (DoD), or Government Contracting
+ Ability to support the development and execution of strategic plans to meet program objectives
+ Ability to manage plan, schedule, budget, performance, cost, and quality
+ Ability to work cross-functionally to integrate and optimize resources to meet customer requirements and business goals
+ Ability to ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and other regulatory standards and business requirements
+ Strong Collaboration skills
+ Strong Communication skills
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Graduate Degree a plus
+ Professional Certifications (PMP) a plus
+ Experience in Defense (DoD) a plus
+ Experience with FAR/DFARS a plus
+ Experience with US Army or USMC Logistics, Material Fielding, or Sustainment Customers a plus
+ Experience in Contracting/Government Contracting a plus
+ Experience in MRP, Oracle, MS Project, or Deltek Open Plan a plus
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $105254 - $178931
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
