Program Manager, PMO , JP Launch & Expansion
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is responsible for managing Amazon's last-mile transportation and is committed to providing customers with high-quality, compelling delivery services. While striving to optimize delivery costs and improve delivery speed, we are focusing on the nationwide expansion of Delivery Stations (DS), our final delivery hubs, to further extend our logistics network. Diverse teams specializing in planning, engineering, technology, and project management work in collaboration with DS members and external delivery partners to execute our operations. Additionally, we strategically deploy innovative delivery programs leveraging Amazon's proprietary technology, working in close coordination with our global teams.

The Launch and Expansion (L&E) team is a project management organization responsible for planning and executing the launch, expansion, and closure projects for various facilities including Delivery Stations (DS), AMPL, XPT (DS relay points), and Same-Day delivery facilities known as SSD (Sub Same Day) and FCDS. The L&E organization consists of the following teams:
Launch Planning Management (LPM) is responsible for planning new DS, AMPL, SSD, and FCDS launches based on AMZL's network strategy. This team manages property selection, layout design, and budget acquisition, working with internal and external stakeholders to assess ROI and develop feasible project plans.
Launch Execution Management (LEM) acts as the central hub for stakeholder coordination during new DS, SSD, and FCDS launch projects. LEM leads the execution of facility setup, including equipment and supplies procurement, and manages staffing, training, and the gradual ramp-up of delivery volume.
Retrofit, Expansion and Initiatives (REI) leads the execution of new AMPL launches to expand delivery areas and is responsible for planning and executing XPT launches to optimize delivery areas for both new and existing DS. REI manages the end-to-end project lifecycle from planning (property selection, layout design, budget acquisition) to execution (launch, expansion, closure).
The Configuration & Testing Team (CTT) is responsible for system configuration and verification for new facility launches. CTT collaborates with global tech teams to implement new systems and solutions, ensuring proper operational setup through system testing and validation.
Project Management Office (PMO) oversees monitoring and control across multiple projects. PMO serves as a communication hub for stakeholder information sharing and feedback and leads standardization efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.
