Amazon has an immediate opening for a Program Manager in our Amazon corporate office. The ideal candidate has experience in leading large scale projects/programs from initiation through delivery in a technology organisation/role. As a program manager for IT Services, you will lead projects focused on the delivery of a new feature, service, product, or system, all of which are aimed at making us the best IT support organisation in the world. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Gathering business requirements
· Document functional and design specifications
· Identify appropriate resources needed
· Assemble the right project team
· Assign individual responsibilities

· Develop the milestones and launch schedule to ensure timely and successful delivery of the project.

Program Managers blend a mix of business and technical skills, assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs with the technical constraints. The successful candidate will rely heavily on influence over authority to drive project deliverables.
