Program Manager, Food (EMEA), Regional Portfolio Management (RPM) EMEA
Amazon's Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team is looking for an innovative, results-oriented Program Manager based in London to execute and deliver a regional Food program that enables Amazonians to thrive throughout their workday.

GREF's Food program delivers a holistic offering of exceptional and inspired offerings through a variety of healthy, culturally inclusive, and customizable food and beverage options in spaces that inspire connection and rejuvenation. The program establishes strategic partnerships with our third-party vendors and community partners across EMEA to bring inclusive experiences into Amazon corporate buildings. Amazon does not direct or control the day-to-day activities of vendor employees providing food services.

The program uses data and insights to right-size offerings and meet Amazonians' evolving needs and wants while remaining frugal. The program leverages technology to enable a customer-centric experience from ordering to receiving nourishment and continuously innovates to adapt to changing preferences and industry landscapes. The program will build sustainability into the fabric of food service operational design to achieve zero waste to landfill by 2030 and meet the Climate Pledge for Net Zero Carbon by 2040.

The successful candidate is an experienced and engaging professional who will excel within an entrepreneurial culture – providing program execution excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and clear communication – not afraid to dive deep into details. They should also understand the nuance of being approachable, while at the same time consultative – providing direction/recommendations to our regional teams and fostering transparent relationships. The candidate must be able to balance frugality with creativity in offering solutions and approach problem-solving with an emphasis on root cause.

This role requires regional travel approximately 10% of the time.

At Amazon, we believe that in-person collaboration is essential to our culture and innovation. While we allow flexibility for personal circumstances, we generally expect employees to work from our offices five days a week. This approach has consistently shown that spontaneous interactions, rapid problem-solving, and the energy of in-person teamwork lead to better results for our customers. In particular, our data shows that teams working together in person are more effective at making complex decisions, onboarding new team members, and fostering the kind of creative collaboration that has driven Amazon's success. The serendipitous hallway conversations and impromptu whiteboarding sessions that happen naturally in an office environment have proven invaluable to our invention process and maintaining our high bar for excellence.
