Program Manager, EF Planning, External Fulfillment

We are seeking a Program Manager for the External Fulfillment (EF) Planning Team within Amazon Japan's Operations Division.
EF handles order processing and shipping operations at fulfillment centers operated by 3PL (third party logistics) or vendors, rather than at Amazon Fulfillment Centers. These centers primarily handle large items, heavy items, and temperature-controlled products. EF team contributes to the company's growth by expanding this service, offering a wide product selection with remarkably fast delivery speeds, thereby enriching our customers' shopping experience.
This position will be responsible for managing network capacity based on medium demand forecasts and executing the launch of new logistics centers to support business growth.

Key job responsibilities
■Planning and Execution of Mid and long-term Launch Plans for New EF Sites
Manage medium and long term demand forecasts and EF site capacity, while creating and executing launch plans for new EF sites to support business growth. We collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders both internally and externally, and swiftly execute logistics network changes proposed in response to business environment shifts based on the latest demand forecasts.
■Cost Planning and Control
We create and manage cost plans for executing new EF site launch plans. We collaborate with Finance, Operations, and partner companies to develop and implement necessary action plans.
■Warehouse Performance Data Management and Analysis
To support the creation of medium- to long-term plans and decision-making for their execution, we collect and aggregate appropriate data from operational logistics facilities, and manage both historical and current information. Additionally, we analyze this data and transform it into information that enables accurate decision-making.

■コスト計画の作成とコントロール
新規EF拠点の立上計画を実行するにあたりコスト計画を作成、管理します。ファイナンス、オペレーションズや協力会社とも連携し、必要なアクションプランを策定、実行を進めます。
■倉庫実績データの管理および分析
中長期計画の作成とその実行判断のサポートの為、稼働中の物流拠点の適切なデータを収集/集計し、過去及び最新情報を管理します。また、そのデータを分析し、正しい意思決定判断ができる情報に加工します。
