Amazon.com
Amazon is seeking a Regional Program Manager to join the AWS Data Center Physical Security team and drive operational excellence across the APJC region. In this role, you will partner with the DC Security Senior Program Manager to establish and maintain standardized processes, metrics, and executive reporting mechanisms that enable data-driven decision making across the organization.
As the Regional Program Manager for DC Security (APJC), you will own end-to-end program management for critical business operations including CAPEX intake and tracking, headcount management, monthly business reviews, and cost-savings initiatives. You will serve as the primary point of contact for regional planning activities, coordinating bi-weekly leadership reporting and ensuring alignment between deployment teams, partner organizations, and executive stakeholders. This role requires deep expertise in planning processes, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate complex operational data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
The position demands a self-starter who can navigate ambiguity, earn trust across multiple teams, and expand proven mechanisms beyond DC Security to benefit the broader sub-division. You will collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and external AWS partners to coordinate business activities that support the global Data Center Engineering organization. Success in this role means delivering high-quality analyses and strategic recommendations that influence operational direction within tight timeframes, while maintaining the highest standards for safety, security, and customer impact that define AWS Infrastructure Services.
This role is part of a broader regional program management structure, with parallel positions supporting EMEA and AMER regions, creating opportunities for cross-regional collaboration and career growth within AWS's global infrastructure organization.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage APJC CAPEX intake, reporting, and tracking processes
• Own headcount management for the APJC region
• Lead APJC Monthly Business Review (MBR) preparation and delivery
• Coordinate APJC COE Review Program execution
• Track and report cost-savings initiatives across the region
• Deliver bi-weekly reporting for leadership reviews
• Expand standardized mechanisms and strategies across DC Security
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and external AWS teams to coordinate business activities
