Amazon Grocery Logistics is seeking a Program Manager to join the Employee Experience Team.
As a Program Manager on the Employee Experience Team, you will be responsible for originating and executing projects dedicated to improving employee job satisfaction at all levels across the Worldwide AGL space. An ideal candidate will be driving new programs to help Amazon become Earth’s Best Employer across multiple roles within the AGL network. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done. You will be able to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, and then deliver them in a successful and timely manner. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role.
This position is inherently cross functional – you will work closely with Operations, Ops Excellence, Ops Integration, AGL Tech teams, Finance, Safety, Food Safety, PXT, Employee Relations and executive teams to bring your initiatives to the network. The role will require candidates to Think Big, as it is a worldwide role, supporting, NA, EU, and JP. This job will require exceptional communication skills and having the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment with all levels of leadership, and exercise sound judgment where clear guidelines may not exist.
Key job responsibilities
- Own and manage the lifecycle of new and existing programs/initiatives, successfully delivering concurrent complex projects aligned with business objectives
- Engage the right stakeholders, customers, and partner teams to communicate with and impact critical business initiatives, and craft and deliver cross-functional, scalable solutions
- Develop, implement, and govern KPI (Key Performance Indicators) reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to stakeholders on program performance, and use this data to drive business decisions
- Help partner and stakeholder teams make trade-offs by considering the impact to the business and customer (e.g., customer experience, quality, efficiency, etc.)
- Proactively identify opportunities to continuously improve program quality, efficiency and operational excellence
- Producing concise, relevant, and strategically driven documents and presentations for both the front-line operation at within AGL and company leadership.
A day in the life
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our operations. You’ll work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work, and what you and your teams can learn, as well as sharing your own expertise. Together, you’ll identify exciting new opportunities and will take the lead when it comes to designing their implementation.
You’ll encourage and support your teams and colleagues to meet important deliverables, while proactively looking for new, data-backed ways we could do things better. Your work will be integral to your team’s success.
