Program Management Senior Analyst, Assistant Vice President
We are seeking a highly experienced and Program Management Support Specialist to join our dynamic team within the banking and financial services industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Program coordination and basic Scrum management principles, coupled with extensive experience in the financial sector. This role requires a professional with a proven ability to support Program managers and teams, ensuring efficient project delivery and successful outcomes. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Assist Program Managers in developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, and resource allocation + Facilitate project communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external vendors. + Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes to relevant parties. + Track Use Case progress, monitor deadlines, and identify potential risks or obstacles, escalating to the Project Manager as needed. + Maintain accurate Intake documentation, including reports, statuses and appropriate approvals from stakeholders + Utilize project management tools, particularly JIRA, to manage tasks, track progress, and generate reports. + Contribute to the implementation and adherence of Program management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. + Assist in preparing presentations and status updates for stakeholders. + Support quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives within projects. + Ensure compliance with banking policies and procedures for project delivery. **QUALIFICATIONS:** Education: + Bachelor's degree Experience: + Minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience, with a significant portion in Program coordination, project management support, or a similar role. + Extensive experience (10+ years) working within the banking or financial services industry. Certifications: + Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Preferred. + Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) Preferred. + JIRA & Confluence certification or demonstrated advanced proficiency in using JIRA for project management and tracking. Skills: + Strong understanding of basic Project or Program management principles and methodologies. + Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills. + Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and facilitation skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. + High degree of business acumen, particularly within the financial services sector.
