Under the direction of the site administrator, assists instructor or program lead with one-on-one or small group tutoring and/or in the direct care, supervision, and support of the children in a classroom setting. Maintains and prepares classroom materials, attendance records, health forms, and student files. Provides instructional assistance that reinforces learning to individuals or small groups of students. Will also perform campus supervision during breaks.
Requirements / QualificationsA high school diploma or equivalent; two years of higher education/Associate’s Degree or higher relating to education, or passage of a district academic assessment test; one year experience or work involving contact with children, preferably including knowledge of subject matter taught in the classroom.

The district is located along Interstate 8, in the southeastern mountains of San Diego County, approximately 50 miles east of the city of San Diego.
