The Digital Modernization Sector brings together our digital transformation and IT programs, allowing us to better serve our customers through scale and repeatability.

The Defense / Intel IT Business Area within the Digital Modernization Sector has an immediate opening for a Program Financial Analyst, Senior Principal to support the AGUN (Army Global Unified Network) program.  As a Financial Analyst on the Program Team, you will work directly with the program manager to help define the program’s financial goals and objectives; create and maintain a program's budget, analyze progress reported against the program baseline; identify risks and opportunities against the program baseline; and recommend actions to improve progress to achieve flawless program execution.

Additional Responsibilities:  

Responsible for the implementation & execution of EVMS best practicesLead EVM Cost & Baseline Management and coordinate reviews with CAMs (Control Account Managers)   Provide financial mentorship and guidance to CAMs on weekly basisInterface directly with senior internal management and government customers to explain EVM metricsReview Technical Direction Plans (TDP) pricing and provide strategic insights to improve baseliningBudgeting, forecasting, and analysis of all contract costs and financial dataVariance analysis and reporting of actual program financial performance against Annual Plan and Quarterly ForecastResponsible and accountable for program financial forecast including development and overall management of program EAC(s)Support Subcontractor Funding Efforts and Cash Flow Management Lead process improvement initiatives including Material Cost Tracking & Financial Reporting & Subcontract Financial ManagementSupport and review program billing process (in coordination with Leidos Billing Team), cash collection, analysis and clearing of unbilled receivables Provide guidance to project start-up and maintenanceSupport of monthly closing process, validating awards/bookings, backlog, Revenue & EBITDA for the programCreating and presenting monthly internal and external customer reportsResponsible for program financial customer deliverables (CDRLs)Supporting any ad hoc requests by internal management and external customersAbility to work independently, or in a team environment and with various organizational levelsRegularly interacts with senior executive leadership (internally or client) regarding matters of strategic importance to the programProvide leadership and guidance to other finance analysts on the AGUN program team

Required Qualifications:

Requires a BA degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 13+ years of prior relevant experience.Prior experience should include budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of contract cost and financial dataStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environmentGood communication skills both verbally and written to clearly provide detailed analysis.Prior defense contracting industry experience is required.Advanced knowledge of multiple contract types (FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts), terms and conditions and billing/reporting requirements.US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Leidos financial systems such as: CostPoint, Cognos, Fusion, LENS (EVM), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Insight.  Hands-On Experience with Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) Programs Extensive experience managing large, complex Earned Value Management (EVM) programs

Pay Range:Pay Range $134,550.00 - $243,225.00
