Program Facilitator | Early Childhood | Clara's House

Find your purpose! Come be part of the new Early Childhood Partial Hospitalization Program, a first in the Midwest to provide care for patients ages 3-5 years old! Clara’s House has recently expanded our building and opened an Early Childhood Unit. Early identification and treatment for children ages 3-5 who are experiencing severe emotional, physiological, behavioral, and /or developmental difficulties that impact their ability to function at home, preschool, childcare, or community settings. 

The Clara’s House Early Childhood Hospitalization Program will provide an opportunity to intervene early, by providing evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment interventions, which are particularly important during the early childhood years.  The program will also enhance responsive caregiver-child relationships and effective parenting skills during the child’s earliest years of life which is crucial for promoting foundational child development and wellbeing.  

Responsibilities of a Program Facilitator 

Help maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment. Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and other clinical staff to support patient’s individual treatment goals. Support daily routines, including transitions, meals/snacks, and breaks. Responsible for planning and implementing social skills groups. Assist in crisis de-escalation as needed. 
 

Schedule

Full-time | 64-80 hours every two weeks | Clara's House  Monday - Friday | 7:30 am - 4:00 pm | No weekends or major holidays
 

Pay and Benefits

Starting pay begins at $19.91 per hour and increases with experience Pay range:  $19.91 - $29.87 per hour Full-time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!
 

Qualifications 

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related human services field or  Five years of related experience assisting in facilitation of groups, programs and material design A valid Minnesota class D driver's license and a driving record in good standing may be required  Skills and knowledge in the provision of therapeutic education and activities Knowledge of medical and psychiatric diagnosis and the associated symptoms Ability to teach a variety of education and creative activities
