Program Engineering Manager (Hybrid)

BAE Systems Electronic Solutions is looking for a Program Engineering Manager (PEM) to lead engineering teams in order to achieve successful program execution. You will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team charged to deliver and support critical mission capabilities. This role will be responsible for planning, staffing, budget, schedules, scope management, risk and opportunity management, and team coordination. You will coordinate with program managers to ensure all customer needs are met and will manage all aspects of the design, integration, test, and delivery of our products. The position will be located in southern New Hampshire and will require periodic travel to other BAE Systems facilities and potentially customer sites. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities:** + Engineering focal point for all activity within the projects including strategic planning, bid and proposal support for engineering content, engineering strategy and integrated plans on programs, engineering staffing, issue reporting, and risk and opportunity management. + Provide overall project technical leadership; plan, execute, and manage all engineering efforts within the project. + Partner and collaborate with program managers, functional engineering managers, subcontractors, customers, and factories to ensure program goals, requirements, and needs are understood and achieved. + Monitor project plans and execution to ensure technical and work scope requirements, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained. + Ensure engineering efforts are planned and executed in accordance with company policies, procedures, processes, and best practices. Provide the coordination between the engineering team, functional managers, and Product Line Engineering Directors, to ensure all necessary reviews are conducted and approvals are received. + Ensure project and product safety are managed in accordance with company policies, procedures, processes, and best practices. Improve our work environment by promoting teamwork, wellness, workplace flexibility, actively embracing diversity, modeling inclusive behaviors, and increasing leadership engagement. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance + Bachelor s degree in engineering is required, with 10 years of applicable experience. + Project engineering management including organizational design, planning, estimating, design management, and product verification + Strong team building skills that enable collaboration and coordination within and across teams and functions Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred Skills and Education + Experience executing programs from a Cost Account Management (CAM) role utilizing the DoD Earned Value Management System (EVMS) **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + The ability to obtain a Top Secret Security clearance and a Special Access clearances + 8 years experience working with complex electrical products in a development, transition to production and/or sustainment role + 10 years experience leading highly technical teams on development, transition to production and/or production programs + Strong team building skills that enable collaboration and coordination within and across teams and functions Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred Skills and Education + Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment. + Excellent independent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability. + Demonstrable project leadership on multidiscipline teams and projects + Experience presenting technical information to program teams and/or customers. + Ability to lead others to closure. + Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
