Job Description:Manage a portfolio of community, employee, board member, and grateful patient giving prospects while designing and leading exciting fundraising programs that capitalize on current and emerging opportunities for support through major and legacy gifts for assigned Foundations supporting Essentia Health hospitals and clinics. Develops strategies for effective donor engagement and stewardship to support operational funding priorities and will work closely with key operational and administrative leaders. Identifies, cultivates, and solicits prospective donors for major and legacy gifts; tracks and monitors donor analytics; determines which prospects and donors to target to ensure mission-focused relationship building. Follows up, as appropriate with each prospect, or donor. Leverages relationships with colleagues to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors. Interacts with all clinical and administrative teams and leadership as needed to understand and promote fundraising priorities and opportunities. Works collaboratively with other foundation leaders throughout the system to create and identify best practices. Expands and manages a legacy giving portfolio and program, while staying updated on trends of legacy giving. Participates in and contributes to managing the EHF Legacy Society by planning special events aimed to steward existing and cultivate new Legacy Society members. Collaborates with EHF-East development team to prepares charitable gift annuity illustrations for prospects and donors. Supplies necessary information to donors' attorneys and financial advisors. Collaborates with EHF-East development team to create marketing material, e-newsletter and website and participates in all aspects of direct mail appeals, and events. Partners with Essentia Health Legal Counsel and Finance Offices regarding policy issues involving planned gifts. Analyzes program results and effectiveness of major and legacy giving program; develops reports and materials for presentation to boards, recommends annual goals and budget projections.

Required Qualifications:
5 years in a related field, preferably healthcare
Preferred Qualifications:
CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive)
