**Job Description:**
Reporting to the market Executive Director, the Program Director of Major Giving is responsible for managing a regional portfolio with the purpose to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward potential and existing major gift donors of the Essentia Health Foundation on the local level. This position will aim to create a level of sustainability by ensuring a strong, local pipeline. The position will partner with the local foundation board, as well as local leadership and physicians/care teams. They will also coordinate efforts with our systemwide development staff, ensuring their strategy plan aligns with that of the health system, and that their process and programs are coordinated with the health system.

+ Bachelors degree
Required Qualifications:
+ 4years of development, marketing,sales,orthe equivalentexperience isrequired.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with CRM (Client Relationship Management Software), for example Raisers Edge or Sales Force.CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive).
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Manageandoptimizeamajor giftportfolio of corporate and individualprospects of 50 to 60.
+ Responsiblefor developingrelationshipstrategies for effective donor engagement and stewardshipof constituents indonorportfolio.
+ Work closely with keyboard members,operational,clinical,and administrative leaders tounderstand funding priorities across the regional footprint.
+ Leverages relationships with colleagues and regional board members toidentify, connect with, cultivate,solicit,and steward donors.
+ Monitor, track and report on donorrelationshipprogresswithmetricsas compared toagreeupon goals.
+ Expand legacyand plannedgiving.
+ Strategically manageslocal foundationbudgetensuringtominimize expenses while maximizing return.
+ Work in collaboration withresearchand service team todevelop any necessary data lists, proposals, assets,events,or marketing materialsto support Foundationplan.
+ Maintains a solid understanding of themain areasof need based on our current strategic plan.
+ Overseesregionaldevelopmentplans, in coordination with servicesteam,tosupportlocalevents and programs designed to expand constituent participationand encourage major giving.
+ Ability to present,plan,andupdate results of fundraisingplan toleadership.
+ Other duties as assigned.

+ Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency
+ Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health 's insurer
+ Proof of current motor vehicle insurance, including minimum State limits and without business exclusion
