Program Director II - Community Connections

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Program Director II – Community Connections to lead the implementation and oversight of this impactful program. The Director will ensure the delivery of trauma-informed, culturally competent services that promote family stability and child well-being. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration, program evaluation, and fiscal management.

 

Pay: $65,000 - $80,000 Annually

Generous Accrued Paid Vacation: 3 weeks in your first year!Vacation Cash-Out Option3 Paid Personal Days11 Paid Holidays Accrued Paid Sick Time Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy aligned with FFPSA and DCF goals.Oversee delivery of mental health, substance use, and in-home parenting services to at-risk families.Ensure program fidelity, quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory standards.Collaborate with DCF, community partners, and service providers to enhance coordination and impact.Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and responsiveness to family needs.Lead community engagement efforts and advocate for the program’s mission.Collect, analyze, and report program data to inform continuous improvement.Manage program budget and seek additional funding opportunities.Supervise staff and support professional development and performance excellence.

 

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred5–10 years of related experience in behavioral health, child welfare, or family servicesStandard driver’s license – class C or class D; Ability to drive as neededSkills and Knowledge:Strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skillsKnowledge of FFPSA, trauma-informed care, and community-based service delivery
