Job Description:
We are searching for a Program Director to lead the delivery of complex, multi-region programs that bring Sage’s Global Model Office (GMO) target architecture to life. This role is all about making transformation real—starting in North America and scaling globally to drive both business and operational success. As Program Director, you’ll partner with senior leaders across functions to plan, resource, and execute high-impact programs. You’ll guide cross-functional teams in a virtual, matrixed environment, ensuring delivery meets the highest standards while risks and issues are anticipated and managed. Success in this role requires more than flawless execution—it’s about influence and communication. You’ll serve as the key connection point for GMO governance and cadence across marketing, support, revenue operations, and IT, ensuring alignment and momentum every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintains a Sage-first, outcome focused mindset at all times
• Accountable for the delivery of business-oriented programs and projects on time, quality and budget
• Accountable for program outcomes, specifically to meet business requirements, contribute to growing and scaling Sage and in line with the PMO methodology and delivery framework
• Partnering closely with cross-functional teams within Sage, the regions and multiple functions with (close collaboration with Transformation Office) as needed
• Maintains and sustains business readiness to hit delivery excellence across multiple projects often in complex and ambiguous environments
• Direct and indirect leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, including mentoring and coaching, to create a high-performance culture within the delivery programs
• Planning and tracking of projects and programs, including defining required resource and budget for delivery and communication through regular reporting
• Management of risks and issues to prevent or reduce impact on project delivery (quality, cost, time)
• Provide clarity and leadership to program teams, staying calm and delivering following Sage’s values while working under pressure
Qualifications:
• Deep expertise in program management with a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives.
• Strong understanding of platform transformation and large-scale change initiatives.
• Comfortable leading and developing small teams.
• Deep knowledge of program rigor, governance, and operating cadences.
• Exceptional cross-functional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
