Program Summary

Center For Family Services is seeking experienced and professional Senior Level Program Director for the Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center. This is a 24-hour psychiatric crisis center for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. The Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center provides a nurturing and supportive environment where our clients can receive therapeutic interventions for up to 24 hours.

Duties and Responsibilities 

Creates and maintains a wellness and recovery-oriented environment by using person-centered planning, language and documentation, and by ensuring that services provided promote wellness and recovery outcomes.Ensures direction and evaluation of CRSC team members and participates in the hiring and termination process of CRSC staff; as needed, provides education and technical assistance to team members regarding the use of Evidence Based Practices to support recovery and wellness; works with the team to develop relevant strategies, such as a Wellness and Safety Plan, instilling hope, promoting choice and empowerment, and developing social and spiritual supports; serves as a resource for the team for wellness and recovery strategies. The CRSC team will consist of at least 56 staff members.Ensures that relevant data is collected for contract monitoring, quality improvement, and other purposes as needed; insures that data is used to improve services provided.Ensures coordination and integration of CRSC services with other Center for Family Services programs and other community programs/agencies in a manner that benefits consumers served.Provides direct service to CRSC consumers and their family members; works with the consumer and family to plan for transition out of the CRSC; works with consumer, family, and CRSC APRN to develop an initial treatment plan; works with consumer and family members to develop and implement a Wellness and Safety Plan; conveys hopefulness toward people served and their families. Complete all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely manner.Complete incident reports according to policy in a timely, accurate manner.Participate in required staff trainings and staff meetings as scheduled.Participate in Center and Program performance improvement activities.Follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Social Work or allied field of study, licensed in NJ to provide clinical services2 years of experience working with the serious and persistent mentally ill population including the dually diagnosed (Co-occurring) populationValid driver's license with acceptable driving record. LCSW with supervisor's credentials and CADC preferredEnglish-Spanish bilingual preferred.
