The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a **Program Development Manager, Global Certification** on the Quality, Outcomes Research & Analytics (QORA) team. This role can be home based.
This is a full time, benefits eligible, grant funded opportunity. Current funding will expire on **June** **30,** **2028,** with the possibility of extension.
In this role you will lead the management, strategy, and development of certification technical platform(s). Key responsibilities include understanding the business requirements and end user needs when interacting with the technical platform(s).
As the Program Development Manager, you will have accountability for:
+ **Program Impact** – Focus on the success of the technical platform meeting the needs of all end users.
+ **Program ownership** – Prioritize the scalability, self-service and the backlog management of the platform.
+ **Relationships** – Build, nurture & maintain business and technical relationships with internal partners and the development team.

**Responsibilities**
+ Define and communicate program vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders.
+ Conduct research and analysis to identify customer and business needs to inform product decisions.
+ Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with business technology, design, marketing, and sales teams to develop comprehensive product roadmaps.
+ Work closely with development teams to refine product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
+ Gather feedback to continuously improve user experience and drive innovation.
+ Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on product performance, roadmap progress, and key milestones.
+ Monitor Performance: Track the performance of new products post-launch, gathering feedback from both customers and internal teams. Use this data to refine future product development cycles and improve overall product strategy.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
+ 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
+ Experience leading program/product development projects.
+ Project management experience
+ Strong strategic thinking, relationship building, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
+ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and customers.
+ Data-driven mindset with experience in using analytics to drive product decisions.
+ Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools.
+ Ability to travel 15 – 20 % of the time per year, including internationally.
**Compensation & Benefits**
The expected pay range will be $80,000 to $100,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
