Program Coordinator
Description The Program Coordinator will play a key role in managing the daily operations of programs aimed at making a positive impact in the community. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, and a deep passion for advancing the organization’s mission. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on social good. Key Responsibilities + Assist in the planning, development, and execution of nonprofit programs and services, ensuring they are on schedule and within budget while aligning with the organization’s mission. + Build and maintain relationships with community partners, program participants, volunteers, and donors to foster collaboration and support for programs. + Track program outcomes, measure impact, and compile data to generate reports for funders, board members, and internal stakeholders. + Help with outreach efforts by assisting in the creation of marketing materials, social media content, and community engagement initiatives to recruit participants and raise awareness for programs. + Manage program-related documentation, schedule meetings and events, maintain calendars, and assist with communication to ensure the smooth operation of all program activities. + Monitor and assess program effectiveness and participant feedback, helping to implement changes or improvements as necessary to enhance program impact. Requirements + 1–3 years of experience in program coordination or a similar role, preferably in the nonprofit sector. + Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with nonprofit database management systems such as Salesforce, Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, Raiser’s Edge, and Kindful. + Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team setting. + Passion for serving the community and aligning with the nonprofit's mission to make a positive impact. + A demonstrated understanding of nonprofit best practices and a commitment to upholding the values of the organization.
