Program Analyst (Procurement)

HOW A PROGRAM ANALYST (PROCUREMENT) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Duties/Tasks:

In support of the Business Operations Department, performs complex administrative and analytical tasks for multiple assigned IT programs to include:

•Conducts logistics and procurement actions to include finalization of Bill of Materials (BOMs), preparation and submission of purchase requisitions, gathering and updating delivery timelines, and obtaining status through communications with vendors.

•Interacts regularly with Project Integration leads to receive and confirm inputs and provide consistent status through the dissemination of material reports.

•Interacts regularly with corporate buyers to ensure conformance to customer requirements.  

•Oversees supplier invoice process to ensure timely processing and payment.

Tracks service renewals (software, hardware, data center, training, and professional services) to ensure renewal in advance of expiration.

•Performs administrative and analytical tasks in support of assigned programs.

•Assists in developing plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitoring tasks, to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned programs.

•Assists senior personnel in defining program requirements.

•May serve as task lead. May provide guidance to less-experienced staff.

•Participates in special projects as required.

Requirements:

•Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline plus five(5) years of related experience.  4 years of professional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree requirement.

•Prior experience working on government procurement programs with inventory value of at least $50M

•Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint

•Knowledge of SC360 and Markview Kofax.

•Effective communication skills both orally and written; Effective organizational skills needed for position; Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•Ability to own tasking from inception to completion.  Maintains accountability throughout procurement process.  Possess ability to research or provide current procurement status and update all necessary stakeholders or statusing tools in a timely fashion.

Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks concurrently in a fast paced environment.

Location: Hybrid (Springfield, VA and Remote)
