Program Analyst Health Care Liaison - ONSITE

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an experienced Program Analyst Health Care professional for a Health Care Liaison position. This will be a full-time employment position at the Orange County Intelligence Assessment Center (OCIAC).

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

The essential duties and tasks of the Health Care Liaison assigned to the OCIAC include but are not limited to:

Serve as a liaison to local, state, and federal health care agencies, as well as public health, fire, and Emergency Management Services partners to share and collect information related to relevant threats and trendsMaintain and strengthen the center’s network of Healthcare Liaison Officers (HLO) through regular products and outreachOrganize and conduct regular meetings and briefings for healthcare stakeholders in the operational areaAssist with organizing and attend relevant seminars, conferences, training events, and exercisesCoordinate closely with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Private Sector Coordinator assigned to the fusion center to foster and maintain relationships and to provide training and educational opportunitiesCollect data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processesPerform additional duties as assignedParticipate in special projects as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

A Bachelor’s degree or relevant experienceA minimum of 4 years of health care-related experienceAbility to obtain a Secret ClearanceUS Citizenship requiredProven knowledge and expertise in emergency preparedness, hospital/health care center operations, and local health infrastructureFamiliarity with federal, state, and local policies and regulations related to public health and emergency managementCompetency in developing and implementing strategic, mission-support initiativesHighly organized with a strong attention to detailAbility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlinesProven ability to successfully engage and collaborate with federal, state, local, and tribal public safety agency executivesAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environmentExceptional writing and public speaking skills to include briefings of public safety executives and public officials at all levels of governmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPointDesired: an active Secret security clearance

Additional Requirements

Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed to support critical efforts and operations
 Must complete an Orange County Sheriff's Department (OCSD) background check, including a possible polygraph examination, before commencing employment or performing services at the fusion center
