**Job Description** **Harborview Medical Center** has an outstanding opportunity for an **Program Analyst to join our Ambulatory and Allied Care Services Department.** **WORK SCHEDULE:** + · 100% FTE, 40 hours weekly + · Day Shift **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:** HMC is seeking a Health Program Operations Specialist responsible for the data needs of the Division of Ambulatory Care including developing, producing, maintaining and providing the necessary analyses that allows clinic leaders to assess and improve the performance of its health care delivery processes. The Health Program Operations Specialist functions as a key analyst & supports the work of ambulatory leadership by combining knowledge of information systems, healthcare data and decision support applications with analytic and presentation skills in order to provide the information necessary for effective clinical, operational and financial decision making. This person must have technical expertise to prepare complex analysis with a high degree of accuracy and the operational and clinical knowledge to interpret these analyses and communicate the results to a broad range of end users. **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** + · Conveniently located near public transportation + · Make a difference for the patients and employees we serve + · Opportunity to provide career growth **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + The Health Program Operations Specialist within the Ambulatory Division is instrumental in supporting hospital-wide data collection, analysis, and process improvements + Utilize various applications such as Epic, Workday, Corporate Data Warehouse, and more for real-time and historical data analysis + Collaborate with internal departments to collect source data, design analyses, and develop reports using Excel or similar tools + Identify trends and improvement opportunities within individual service lines, leveraging knowledge of applications and data sources + Collaborate with Ambulatory leadership to develop materials summarizing data, implications, opportunities, and recommendations for improved access. + Assist in the establishment and maintenance of various reports, so support the Division leadership in managing the operational, financial, personnel, and related administrative activities + Provide user education on decision support data and applications to promote reduced reliance on analytic support over time + Coordination, oversight and preparation of monthly financial reporting and on-going productivity and labor reporting specific to the division + Reports and dashboards created by the analyst will support the decision making of HMC and UW Medicine’s executive leadership team **REQUIREMENTS:** + Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare, and/or Business + Experience as an analyst in Healthcare + Experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc. **ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER** As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine.
