EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 79,000 people through 120 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated part-time Program Aide to join our Opioid Overdose Prevention Program. Wage: $20 per hourSchedule: 21 Hours Per Week (Exact Schedule TBD)Location: 175 Remsen Street, 11th floor in Brooklyn NY Primary Purpose of Job: The Program Aide will assist the Supervisor and Program Director in a wide range of administrative and support related tasks to ensure program priorities are maintained. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: + Handle a wide range of administrative and support related tasks for the Supervisor and Program Director. + Order naloxone supplies, maintain inventory, distribute kits to offices across NYC. + Track staff training and the number of kits distributed in each office. + Maintain documentation and prepare monthly reports on training and kits distributed. + Conduct naloxone training with staff and clients. Help staff identifies barriers in conducting training. + Interact with clients in a professional manner. + Perform all other relevant duties as determined by Supervision and EAC NETWORK Administration. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required: + High School diploma or equivalent required. + Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team. + Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. + Naloxone training certification required within one month of hire. + Commit to working 21 hours a week. + Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments
