What we want The Program Aide supports ongoing funded research projects in health promotion and health behavior change in vulnerable populations (e.g., adolescents, maternal women, aging populations). Contributes to multiple aspects of project implementation, including manuscript development, advanced statistical analysis, project management, and participant recruitment. Works closely with PI, the research team and community partners. What you need to know Salary: Will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience. Qualifications Required Education + Graduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience + Three years of public health related research experience Preferred Qualifications + Expertise in statistics software application + Bilingual language, e.g., Spanish, Mandarin + Participants recruitment and project management experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities + Ability to work cooperatively with others + Strong project management and organizational skills + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams + Knowledge in public health program study design and advanced data analysis skills such as courses in advanced epidemiology and statistical analysis + Ability to assist with the development of public health education materials and program communications. + Ability to apply diverse public health theories in program development + Proficient in STATA and Excel skills + Awareness of the structure and function of research teams, and academic labs + Has strong attention to detail + Ability to manage multiple priorities + Equipment including software and electronic devices to conduct data analysis and project management + Ability to meet virtually and/or in person Responsibilities Assist with advanced data analysis and new program development + Conducts advanced secondary data analysis independently + Develops RCT study design for innovative intervention programs Assists with manuscript development + Develops health promotion related research manuscripts independently with minimal mentorship Assist PI to develop grant proposal + Collaborates with both the PI, the research team, and community partners frequently Instructions to Applicants: Applications received by Texas A&M University must either have all job application data entered or a resume attached.
