Based on policy you will need a primary residence in CA prior to starting with CHLA.** **Purpose Statement/Position Summary:** The Program Administrator is responsible for overseeing operational functions for department-specific programs. The Administrator will plan, direct, and coordinate program activities to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within the estimated time period and in compliance with CHLA or other relevant agencies’ policies. The Administrator will oversee all internal and external communications, events, conferences, marketing materials, and provide committee meeting support for the Department. This position will also provide technical support for various web-based platforms, develop educational resources, identify issues and areas of opportunity to improve the user experience, and collaborate with various departments to resolve issues and implement changes. **Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:** _Required:_ • 3+ years of experience in writing and developing a wide range of communications • Familiarity/Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) • Technical and project management skills: Experience coordinating multiple projects at the same time; strong planning organizational skills; the ability to organize complex information into cohesive communications • Strong communication skills: Expresses oneself clearly and effectively when speaking and/or writing to individuals or groups _Preferred:_ • Experience in an academic medical center • Experience working with physicians **Education/Licensure/Certification:** _Required:_ Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing or related field. **Pay Scale Information** $68,640.00-$99,341.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
