The Opportunity: The firm's Real Estate group is consistently recognised as one of the UK's top practices, advising on high-profile investment, development and regeneration projects across sectors including office, retail, industrial, logistics, hospitality, life sciences, residential and mixed-use schemes. Clients include major developers, investors, lenders, occupiers, and international stakeholders. Joining a well-established knowledge team, you will work closely with partners and fee earners nationally to drive knowledge strategy, training, and innovation within the department. Key Responsibilities: - Developing and maintaining precedents, practice notes, and know-how resources, with a focus on commercial property. - Designing and delivering training programmes, workshops, and legal updates for fee earners. - Providing insights on case law, legislation, and policy developments affecting real estate. - Driving innovation by working with Legal Tech and Business Transformation teams to introduce automation and AI-powered tools. - Supporting fee earners, marketing, and business development teams with thought leadership and client publications. - Building and maintaining external relationships with industry bodies such as HM Land Registry and attending relevant forums to ensure the team stays ahead of market practice. Candidate Requirements: - Qualified solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in Commercial Real Estate (landlord & tenant, investment, development, asset management, and finance structures). - Recent fee-earning experience essential; prior PSL experience is beneficial but not required. - Technically strong with the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical, user-friendly guidance. - Experience with legal technology, automation, or AI tools would be an advantage. - Strategic thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across national teams. - Organised, proactive, and able to influence and inspire colleagues.
