The Medical ICU (MICU) is a 32-bed critical care unit that specializes in treating patients with acute respiratory failure, sepsis, pre/post-lung transplants, renal failure, and toxicology cases. Nurses in the MICU gain hands-on experience with ventilators, trachs, vasopressors, neuromuscular blockades, and CRRT machines.
