Within this business line, the Cybersecurity Professional Services Senior Consultant is responsible for deploying and implementing our data security solutions in customer enterprise environments. In this position, the consultant has a central role in the organization, generating revenue in coordination with sales, interfacing with the customer, AND coordinating with R&D and product management to enhance and optimize the solution to meet customer’s needs.

This is a highly hands-on and technical role with extensive customer facing responsibilities. The individual will work with cross functional teams at customer sites focusing mainly on IT security, encryption and key management, to install and configure our data protection products. 

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base and new products.  Service oriented. Business driven. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment and able to handle multiple priorities.

Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility

The professional Services Senior consultant main functions and responsibilities will include:

Assisting engagement specialist to scope complex Thales products’ deployment.

Set up conference calls with customers to review deployment plans, pre-requisites and best practices

Provide onsite or remote consulting services and support to Thales customer with a focus on high quality, accuracy and customer satisfaction

Record project activities in the department project management application

Develop and deliver technical hands-on product deep knowledge transfer to customers

Track and ensure successful completion of high impact projects by creating project scoping plans, design guides and relevant documentation

Function as technical point of contact for customer deployments and as a mentor for other team members

Delivery of customer engagement in Database Activity Monitoring, Web Application Firewall, Secure Sphere, Data Risk Analytics and Data Risk Intelligence.

Design – Role, Policies and Procedures

Documentation and hands on deployment including hardware security modules

Provide training and knowledge transfer

Provide strong product and professional services solution presentation to difference audiences, internal and external.

On top of his delivery mission, Senior Consultant must have the skills below:

Empowers project delivery success by sharing content on delivery best practices and product training

Reports on product quality, top issues, improvement initiatives and feedback to consultant technical leader.

Educates customers on related products, discover new use cases, and positions potentials professional services upsell opportunities.

Willing to implement the organizational vision in a continually evolving environment.

Able to drive Customer to implement a plan, minimize escalations and secure PS Invoicing in line with sales target for projects

Works with cross regional team on technical missions to prepare deployment of new solutions for PS consultants team

Technically drives complex projects involving large diversities of technologies and products, teams and regions.

Able to manage “Staff Augmentation Services” for customer: Our Staff Augmentation Services enable our customer to strengthen their teams with technical cybersecurity expertise and specialized database security knowledge in order to protect customer information assets.

Supports engagement manager in the pre-sales phase of complex scope of work definition and workload estimation

Versed with security best practices and help customer through consulting best practices to be implemented in customer environment.

Minimum Requirements: Skills, Experience & Education

Education:   

B.A./B.S. degree required (preferably Computer Science, Information Services, or a related field).

Experience:

5+ years as Security Technical Consultant

Experience in onsite and remote projects delivery model.

Able to deploy all Data Security products including, but not limited to, Data Security Fabric, Secure Sphere, Data Risk Analytics and Data Risk Intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical

Experience with Web Application Firewall-P (WAF-Prem)

How to deploy Web Applications / firewall

Sizing and technical pre-requisitions

How to configure and analyze

Fine tune and configure reporting and integration(s).

Experience with Data Risk Analytics (DRA)

How to deploy on VMWare, AWS, Azure

Ability to extract audit data from Agent Gateways to DRA Analytics

How to create lists and perform tuning

Experience in performing Health-Checks

Low level troubleshooting; routine system checks; documenting findings and scope for improvements.

Experience with Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) / Secure Sphere

How to deploy on VMWare

Sizing basic gateways

How to install agents (windows; non-windows)

How to undergo data classification scans; vulnerability scans

Ability to troubleshoot on gateways and agents

Experience with Windows server administration.

Comfortable with Active Directory, power shell, NTFS administration and group policy administration.

Knowledge of applications such as WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, JBoss

Programming background and experience (Java, C++, .NET, SQL, XML)

Experience in Storage solutions (NetApp, Dell, HP, etc.)

Relevant security or professional certifications: CISM, CISA, CISSP, ITIL v3, PMP

Cloud Certifications: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.

Experience with Splunk, MongoDB, SAP/Hanna and/or Teradata
