This role is pivotal in supporting Optical team to deliver compliance and operational excellence across the Optical business and in our Optical Departments. An integral part of the team, ensuring that the Optical business operates within regulatory standards and drives the Optical strategy
For this role you must be a GOC registered Optometrist.Work with the analytics team to create and manage the optical dashboard from all data feeds (e.g. Spark, Audit, NHS inspections, Oracle etc) Making Change of hours applications to the NHS for Bank Holidays, and Christmas.
Key stakeholder in the delivery of the Optical Strategic plan with end-to-end accountability for delivering several key projectsAccountable for professional complaint investigations, delivered through clinical lead optometrists.Maintaining thorough and appropriate review with delivery of outcomes within SLA.Investigate Concerns Raised involving Professionals thoroughly, working closely with the Field and Retail teams to aid preparation for all meetings.Accountable for ensuring all mandatory and enhanced NHS services contract compliance matters are handled successfully in all UK nations.Responsible for maintenance of NHS EeRS portals and documentation relating to these across our Optical departments.Participate in multiple stakeholder reviews of activity, including Commercial Team, Systems & Services Manager and other Professional Services colleagues professional standard conflicts and activity can be executed effectively and efficiently across the business.Delivery of data required for subject access requests (SARs) from customers and third parties.Contribute in the delivery of compliance business plan as part of business-as-usual activity and also one-off projects, including audit cycles, SOP and other compliance toolkits.Preparation and delivery of reporting and analytics for quarterly healthcare compliance meetings as required.Responsible for regular review of all training modules for colleagues, managers and registrants in the business, writing new material as required.Attend all Quarterly Optical Manager meetings, regular store visits and annual Optical Conferences.Horizon scanning to Identify areas for further efficiencies for both central and store teams, always driving continuous improvement.Contribute to User Acceptance Testing of PMS and Website Upgrades, working alongside the Systems and Services manager.Deputise for Superintendent Optometrist as required.You will be/have:
