Professional Services Associate Manager

Red Hat Israel is seeking a Technical Associate Manager to lead our team of professional services consultants. This role combines team leadership, customer engagement, and technical oversight. You will manage a team of consultants who support our customers in adopting and implementing Red Hat technologies. The role requires both strategic and hands-on involvement in team development, project delivery, and business operations.

We are looking for someone to be based in Central or Southern Israel.

What you will do

Manage a team of consultants, including career development, technical training, performance reviews, mentoring, hiring, and employee retention.

Oversee project delivery from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, scope, and signed contracts.

Provide architectural guidance and validate technical deliverables and documentation produced by the team.

Participate in steering committee meetings with key customers, represent the consulting team, and ensure customer success.

Write and review Statements of Work (SOW), support discovery sessions, and assist with proposal creation and pricing for service engagements.

Own and manage a profit center, including responsibility for revenue, margin, billability, and utilization targets.

Collaborate with regional management peers and the EMEA enablement team to ensure continuous development and capability building across the team.

Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with sales and delivery to grow service engagements.

What You Will Bring

Previous involvement in professional services delivery, technical project management, or customer-facing consulting.

Experience managing technical consultants, infrastructure engineers, or software professionals.

Strong understanding of enterprise IT architectures, infrastructure, and application development methodologies.

Familiarity with project financials and reporting, including tracking of revenue and budgets.

Strong business acumen and ability to align delivery with Red Hat’s business model and strategic goals.

Experience working closely with clients and stakeholders, managing escalations and expectations.

Bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent technical training and consulting experience.

Excellent communication skills in English & Hebrew

Nice to Have:

Proven hands-on experience with Red Hat technologies or similar open-source enterprise platforms.
