**SUMMARY:**
Dermalogica is seeking a strategic and results-driven **Professional Marketing Director** to lead US brand strategy and execution within the professional skincare channel. This role is responsible for driving growth among professional skin therapists and B2B retail partners by developing compelling marketing strategies, strengthening sales partnerships, and leading a high-performing marketing team.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with deep experience in B2B marketing, professional beauty or skincare channels, and commercial growth strategy. They bring strong strategic thinking, operational rigor, and a passion for supporting the professional skin therapist community.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Own Brand Strategy & Execution for the Professional Channel**
+ Develop and lead the annual professional channel marketing strategy for independent skin therapist, national and student accounts aligned with Dermalogica-s global brand vision and commercial objectives.
+ Create compelling value propositions, messaging, and programs that resonate with professional skin therapists and drive engagement, loyalty, and brand advocacy.
+ Ensure cohesive execution across campaigns, promotions, education initiatives, trade marketing, and events.
+ Champion the voice of the professional within cross-functional planning to ensure their needs remain central to brand decisions.
**2. Partner with Sales to Deliver Growth Plans**
+ Collaborate closely with Sales leadership to develop and execute growth strategies across existing and emerging B2B accounts.
+ Translate revenue targets into actionable marketing plans that drive sell-in, sell-through, and account retention.
+ Support key account strategy, communication, promotional planning, and new product launches with tools and programs that accelerate commercial impact.
+ Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize ROI and channel growth.
**3. Lead strategic partnership with Education**
+ Lead the strategic alignment between Marketing and Education, ensuring cohesive messaging and seamless execution across campaigns, product launches, and key evergreen initiatives.
+ Lead the marketing and promotion of education initiatives, driving enrollment, professional engagement, and measurable revenue impact.
+ Partner cross-functionally to integrate training initiatives with promotional strategy, driving professional adoption and revenue growth.
+ Drive cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Education, and Sales to create a cohesive, high-impact professional journey
**4. Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team**
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a professional marketing team responsible for supporting B2B accounts and driving channel initiatives.
+ Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability measures aligned to business priorities.
+ Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence consistent with Dermalogica-s brand values.
+ Manage budgets effectively to ensure strategic investment and measurable outcomes.
**5. Create Robust, Integrated Marketing Plans**
+ Develop comprehensive annual and quarterly marketing plans inclusive of campaign strategy, trade promotions, digital engagement, education support, events, and in-spa merchandising.
+ Ensure integrated execution across digital, field, education, and retail touchpoints.
+ Leverage customer insights, data analytics, and market trends to inform strategy and optimize performance.
+ Drive new product launch excellence within the professional channel.
**6. Drive Lifecycle Marketing & CRM programs for the Professional Skin Therapist**
+ Develop and lead a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy designed to attract, nurture, convert, and retain professional B2B accounts.
+ Build segmented CRM journeys that effectively -catch, hold, and close- new prospects through targeted onboarding, education, promotional cadence, and re-engagement campaigns.
+ Partner with Sales teams to create automated lead nurturing programs that drive conversion from inquiry to active account.
+ Design structured onboarding programs for new accounts that accelerate first orders, deepen product adoption, and establish long-term loyalty.
+ Leverage data, behavioral insights, and performance analytics to continuously optimize communication cadence, messaging, and conversion strategies.
+ Implement retention and reactivation initiatives to reduce churn and increase lifetime value across the professional channel.
**Qualifications & Experience**
+ 8-12+ years of marketing experience, with experience in B2B, professional beauty, skincare, or related industries.
+ Proven success in building and executing channel-specific brand strategies that drive measurable revenue growth.
+ Strong commercial acumen with experience partnering closely with Sales teams.
+ Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
+ Expertise in marketing planning, CRM/lifecycle marketing programs, campaign development, and budget management.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
+ Passion for professional skincare and supporting the skin care professional community.
**The expected annual base salary range for this position is $135** **,000 to $1** **6** **0,000.** The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, and budget. This role is eligible for participation in our company bonus plan, rewarding personal performance and company results.
This position will be based out of the corporate headquarters in Carson, CA with applicable hybrid in-office work guidelines.
