Professional Maintenance Manager
The Professional Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the activities of Maintenance Supervisors and multi-disciplined Skilled Trade employees in support of production processes. He/she manages related automation and controls of manufacturing operations and plans project operations that establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing. All activities are managed according to Stellantis Production Way (SPW) standards with emphasis on autonomous and proactive maintenance.    Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager also include, but are not limited to: Managing Tooling/Facility Engineers Managing Technical Cleaning Scope of work including specification development and continuous improvement initiatives Working collectively with BIW supplier technical support personnel Revising and maintaining maintenance-related approved documents Providing support during BIW Operations Manufacturing Engineering audits Performing other duties as assigned/required FCA is committed to providing accommodation for people with accessibility needs due to disabilities in all aspects of the hiring process. If you request an accommodation, we will work with you to meet your accessibility needs due to disability.       Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or journeyperson; and minimum of FIVE (5) years of industrial automation maintenance experience, including some supervisory experience Ability to work any shift and overtime as required Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as required Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrated ability to coach / mentor / develop team members Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead team Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing Troubleshooting and programming experience in one of the following: controls, robotics, drives and system level communication systems, sealing systems, glass cell systems, various conveyance systems, welding - all types, paint process and associated systems, vision systems and sensors use and application Experience with machine, systems operation, and integration Must possess a working knowledge of advanced technical problem-solving tools Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Must be legally eligible to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical/engineering field (i.e., BSME or BSEE) Previous experience working in a union environment Production/maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Familiar with World Class Manufacturing pillar methodology and implementation Seven or more years maintenance experience in a manufacturing/automotive environment Knowledge of welding processes (i.e., resistance spot welding) Experience with Control Net Networks, Device Net Networks, ABB Experience with RS Logic, PLC-5, Control Logics, Allen Bradley Drive Systems, machine installation, robotic automation, and application Experience with body shop, stamping press automation or subassemblies Good working knowledge of Google Suite software programs
