Professional Land Surveyor
Job Description Day to Day: On a day‑to‑day basis, the Professional Land Surveyor conducts boundary, topographic, and construction surveys in the field using Trimble and Leica equipment while working in a variety of weather conditions. They collect, verify, and document accurate field data, applying mathematical and trigonometric calculations to check measurements and manage error propagation. Field data is then processed and reviewed to ensure quality and compliance with Pennsylvania surveying standards. The role also involves coordinating with engineers and project teams and maintaining clear field notes and survey documentation. Skills and Requirements Must Haves:  NEED professional surveyor license or LSIT in the state of PA  3+ years of experience as a Surveyor  Tech savvy when it comes to surveying equipment (Trimble, Leica scanners)  Willingness to work in various weather conditions Strong ability to perform basic mathematical and trigonometric calculations and understand error propagation in field surveys. Plusses:  Bachelors or Associates degree of any kind  New York surveying license  Experience with construction layout and / or utility passageways Exp with Civil3d, Open Roads, or some sort of civil engineering-based CAD
