What this job involves:
The Soft Services Assistant Manager supports the delivery of non-technical facility services, ensuring high-quality service delivery, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency across all soft services operations.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Service Delivery ManagementOversee daily operations of soft services including cleaning, catering, landscaping, and waste management
Monitor service quality and performance against SLAs and KPIs
Conduct regular inspections and quality audits
Manage vendor relationships and subcontractor performance
Team LeadershipSupervise and mentor soft services staff and contractors
Conduct training programs and safety briefings
Manage work schedules and resource allocation
Handle performance management and disciplinary actions
Client RelationsServe as primary point of contact for soft services inquiries
Respond to service requests and complaints promptly
Conduct client meetings and service reviews
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Financial ManagementManage soft services budgets and cost controls
Review and approve invoices and purchase orders
Identify cost-saving opportunities
Prepare financial reports and variance analysis
Compliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Maintain proper documentation and records
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols
Manage emergency response procedures
Required Skills and Experience:
Graduation in hospitality management
years of experience in facility management or soft services
2+ years in a supervisory or management role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Basic financial management and budgeting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Strong leadership and people management skills
Customer service and client relationship management experience
Desired or preferred experience skills:
Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Ability to read and interpret service contracts and SLA.
Knowledge of cleaning standards and procedures
Facility Management Professional (FMP)
Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
Estimated compensation for this position between 6.5 to 10 LPA
