Purpose of Role

Position is responsible for providing operational support to Under Armour’s corporate and regional customers; ensure all exports are in compliance, according to Global Government Export laws & regulations, as well as company policies, procedures, and processes. Keep Supply Chain business partners up to date with state of the business, disruptions, and develop short and long-term improvements that drive efficiencies. Support global Logistics and Trade Compliance projects and initiatives, impacting all the regions. 

Your Impact

•    Maintain knowledge base of Under Armour’s supply chain and work directly with our regions in North America, Greater China, Latin America, and EMEA.
•    Prepare, distribute, and keep records of all export documentation for all regional and global shipments destined for international markets with a high attention to detail.
•    Give support in regional projects like crossdocking operation from the Panama Hub acting as a backup for the operation.
•    Provide support to the HKG CFS operation ensuring that the distributors receive correct and complete documentation on time and escalating whenever there is a disruption in the service provided by the designated LSP. 
•    Support the ASR team ensuring that invoicing events are posted for cargo arriving at the HKG CFS and ensure IBDs (inbound deliveries) are retriggered into WMS of the Panama HUB whenever necessary.
•    Ensure that FTAs are obtained for direct and crossdocking shipments whenever they apply.
•    Support Global Accounting team in the different audits providing all necessary documentation on time and in a correct way.
•    Act as the backup for the Logistics Sr. professional, making sure that load plans are reviewed and approved in a correct way and make decisions without impacting the business negatively.
•    Be the subject matter expert for all export documents related matters, including the GTS (global trade solution tool) expert to create documents smoothly and manage exceptions.
•    Provide support to the regional countries as GTS and compliance expert.
•    Communicate and coordinate pickups with freight forwarders/carriers to ensure all product is treated with a sense of urgency through delivery to final destination.
•    Trace, report the root cause and create a preventive/corrective action plan as needed for any delays in the transportation network or documents handover from Good Suppliers.
•    Provide weekly status reports to teammates across all levels of the organization using system reports as well as ad-hoc reporting, as needed. 
•    Maintain all VAS documents and update/communicate changes, as needed.
•    Collaborate in keeping internal SOPs updated for the Panama Hub operations as well as reviewing current SLAs with the LSPs. 

•    Coordinate Compliance onboardings for every new vendor in LTAM ensuring that a detailed explanation on compliance matters is given.
•    Send relevant announcements to LTAM vendors on compliance updates concisely. 
•    Apply Expense Offsets to LTAM vendors giving a detailed explanation on the reason of the charge back. 
•    Work collaboratively with logistics, vendor compliance, brokers, trade compliance, legal, trims, finance, and transportation stakeholders to develop tools and guidelines to support efficient processes and support the growth of international markets.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree
•    3+ years of related experience and a passion for international business 
•    Experience with footwear, apparel, and accessories manufacturing and logistical movements a plus.
•    Experience and confidence in working within applications such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Outlook. 
•    Experience with SAP, Tableau, BI, is a plus. 
•    Experience generating and/or analyzing data as it relates to project objectives.
•    Self-motivated and works well independently and under supervision in a team environment.
•    Comfortable with language barriers or constraints; bilingual language skills. English is a must
•    Strong understanding of transportation and regulatory compliance across the global supply chain.  
•    Ability to effectively communicate upwards (executive level) and downward to functional and support teams. Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.  Listen and get clarification.
•    Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Gather and analyze information skillfully.  Develop alternative solutions. Work well in group problem solving situations.  Use reasoning even when dealing with emotional topics. 
•    Learn leadership skills, setting clear and concise goals and build skills for career growth.
•    Manage difficult customer situations.  Respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service.  Respond to requests for service and assistance making sure to meet commitments.
•    Strong ability to multi-task. Work well independently or with a group to complete work accurately and on time on a consistent basis.
•    Balance team and individual responsibilities. Give and welcome feedback.  Contribute to building a positive team spirit.

Base Compensation

 $18,684.18 - $25,690.74 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
