Responsible, under minimal supervision, to place and follow-up on orders to ensure fulfillment in accordance with purchasing terms and conditions. This role will manage and resolve contracts, invoice, vendor authorization, return material authorization(RMA), and vendor credit issues to increase the operational efficiency of IPC’s Procurement department. This role will also conduct procurement activities in accordance with ethical business standards and established policies and procedures. This role will maintain and manage assigned business divisions and manufacturing subsidiaries, as well as relationships with key suppliers to fulfill the procurement needs and requirements for production of consumer electronics products and product development projects and activities. Works independently, and considered a seasoned and experienced professional with adequate understanding of own job area. Determines approach to work, and is monitored/supervised based more on milestone basis, and at key deliverable junctures.

Role and Responsibilities

·        Effectively utilize system integration for systematic procurement activities including auto purchase order and auto goods received(GR) and shipping request(SR)

·        Supplier Response to PO(RTP) management

·        Return Material Authorization(RMA) process and management

·        AR/AP management with suppliers and customers (Old A/R, Pending SOA)

·        Analysis of market trends and information

·        Key supplier management and quarterly business review evaluation

·        HQ and subsidiary support via subsidiary visits and VOC

·        Procurement training and KAP test

·        Perform purchasing activities in compliance with procurement standards, controls, and ethical business practices

·        Communicate with HQ to obtain short term and long term material usage status and share information with suppliers to ensure smooth flow of supply chain management

·        Process orders based on customer requirements; Allocate items to the respective suppliers and issue PO

·        Respond to the requirement changes requested by customers and check on supplier inventory status; Seek to fulfill customer’s request by coordinating on-time delivery with suppliers and provide frequent  status updates to avoid any delays

·        Receive materials according to PO balance and requirement dates; Ensure timely delivery is made by supplier with accurate documentation and precise instructions provided to logistics service provider

·        Adjust delivery schedules with suppliers according to customer’s requirements and inventory status to avoid any shortages in production planning, as well as manage the customer’s unexpected causes that may need to control inventory level to avoid any potential aging inventory by cancelling or pushing out existing orders with suppliers

·        Manage and maintain cargo movement on timely manner by process of receiving materials and shipping the goods to the correct final destination

·        Identify and resolve purchasing and procurement related issues and discrepancies, including invoicing issues, Return Material Authorizations(RMA), and any credit and debit discrepancies

·        Collaborate with Supply Chain and Marketing/Sales to develop and manage strategic supplier relationships

·        Support and train suppliers to utilize the N-SRM procurement system to manage and perform multi-dimensional analysis of suppliers including cost management, procurement engineering, supply collaboration, supplier management and risk management

·        Manage comprehensive supplier evaluation process performed annually to assess the competitive edge of suppliers and to control sustainability risks

·        Management of conflict minerals non-usage by suppliers by obtaining non-use agreements and CMRT survey periodically, and perform on-site inspection as necessary

·        Conduct regular business review meetings with key suppliers to manage strategic relationships and obtain supplier status and market information

Skills and Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in conducting professional business meetings/discussions

·        Supply Chain Management and Business Administration(MBA) background preferred, but not required

·        General market knowledge of semiconductor industry

·        Prior experience with SAP or similar business enterprise purchasing, inventory control and procurement management system required

·        Capacity to work under pressure with a sense of urgency and customer focus

·        Ability to interact and gain cooperation of various cross functional team members including Engineering, Marketing and Product Planning Management

·        Proven track record of managing risk in coordination with project teams and experience in supply chain management strategies

·        Excellent computer skills

·        Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

·        Excellent Microsoft office proficiency
