Position Summary:

The Products & Investments Technology Consultant will lead the development of new functionalities and services within Products & Investments systems. Additionally, the Products & Investments Consultant will support the maintenance of Investment Applications such as Bloomberg AIM.

The Products & Investments Technology Consultant reports to the Sr. Products & Investments Consultant.

Position Duties / Responsibilities

• Support the development of new functionalities and services within Products & Investments systems.
• Maintenance of Bloomberg AIM and other system applications for business as usual.
• Provide technical support to users.
• Support maintenance of connectivity, test environment, mappings and new rollouts for business as usual.

• Analyze complex business problems and assess how automated systems can be implemented to solve them.
• Coordinate with business owners to gather a comprehensive set of business requirements, in order to clearly define the overall purpose of the project. Responsibilities include identifying key stakeholders, incorporating multiple viewpoints, documenting current system functionalities, and specifying required external interfaces. Additionally, the role involves classifying both functional and non-functional requirements and ensuring proper traceability of any requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide support during the User Acceptance Test phase, helping users to define tests scripts. Collect and save test evidences for audit purposes.
• Document the implementation plan and support the coordination of the production deployment for all project-related changes, once approved by the business.

• Lead as Technical Project Manager in strategic initiatives. 

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Specialized Knowledge 

• Knowledge of Securities and Investments

• Strong Project Management skills

• Knowledge of Bloomberg, T-24 is a plus

• Strong analytical skills to be able to improve or develop new STP processes

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience 

Business Experience:

5-7 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency  

Technical Knowledge:

• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with different level/market across the organization
• Sound problem solving and project management skills
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and modeling skills
• Problem solving approach oriented and customer focused
• Teamwork and team spirit focused including flexibility

Languages:

English and Spanish.   

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range:

Minimum:

$82,500.00 USD

Maximum:

$145,000.00 USD
