Production Workforce
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Execute welding tasks for G07+ spring module components in accordance with technical drawings and standard operating procedures. + Perform daily welding and heat treatment operations with consistency, quality, and adherence to production schedules. + Assist in rework and troubleshooting of welding-related product issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented. + Maintain 5S practices at the workstation, ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are well-organized and clean. + Record, report, and resolve production and quality abnormalities in collaboration with the QA and Supervisor. + Ensure compliance with ACT Quality Standards, safety policies, and on-time delivery (OTD) goals. **Who You Are:** + You are a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in craftsmanship and product quality. + You demonstrate responsibility, discipline, and a proactive attitude in addressing challenges. + You collaborate well with peers and supervisors and contribute to team success with a positive mindset. + You are safety-conscious and committed to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Minimum MLVK (Basic) certification. + At least 5 years of welding experience with proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and OAW. + Valid metal welding and cutting operation certificate. + Ability to interpret engineering/technical drawings and follow work instructions accurately. + Basic understanding of mechanical systems and assembly techniques. + 1–2 years of heat treatment experience in a metal-based production environment. + Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. + Physically fit to work in a factory setting and comply with safety protocols. **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + Prior experience welding for pressure vessels, boilers, or related high-risk components. + Familiarity with ISO 9001 and lean manufacturing practices. + Demonstrated ability to identify and correct weld defects. + Experience contributing to zero-defect production environments. **Our Culture & Commitment to You:** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
