Job Description
Join our dynamic team in the Fiberglass department, where you will engage in various General Labour roles critical to our production process. This position involves working with door components, assembling them, and operating machinery to ensure efficient production.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and organize door components for assembly as a Lock Block Operator, requiring some math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.Collaborate with another builder as a Layup Top Side Builder to assemble components on door skins, working in a fast-paced environment.Operate the foam press machine as a Foam Press Operator, injecting foam into doors, requiring physical strength and endurance.Work in partnership with the hammer side builder and read schedules to ensure the assembly line is set up properly.Maintain a building pace of a minimum of 110 doors per hour and assist in line setup and changeovers.Report defects and remakes to the Line loader and record scrap as needed.Report any maintenance issues and ensure quality requirements are met.Put away scrap steel, clean the production line, and enter information into the Vorne System Downtime software.Essential Skills1+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or general labor.Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.Experience with saws, hand, and power tools or willingness to be trained.Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32”.Reliable transportation to the job site.Additional Skills & QualificationsPicking and packing experience.General labor, assembly, and machine operation skills.Team player attitude and willingness to learn.Nice to have CNC machine operating experience and basic troubleshooting skills.Mechanically inclined.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work within a clean, brand-new facility alongside 80-100 employees, including 60 assemblers and production staff. Operate in a custom wood manufacturing environment, producing 150-300 doors daily. Training occurs during regular shifts from Monday to Thursday, 5:45 am to 4:15 pm. The dress code includes long pants, long sleeve shirts, and provided safety gear such as ear plugs, safety glasses, and safety vests.
