Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team on the bottling line at a syrup flavoring plant. This role requires standing throughout the shift, inspecting bottles for correct labeling, checking for syrup overflow, ensuring no leaks, proper capping, and boxing. You will handle both glass and plastic bottles and lift boxes weighing up to 75 pounds.
ResponsibilitiesWork efficiently on the bottling line, inspecting bottles for quality assurance.Ensure correct labeling and check for syrup overflow and leaks.Cap and box bottles accurately and safely.Handle glass and plastic bottles with care.Lift and manage boxes that can weigh up to 75 pounds.Essential SkillsQuality control experience.Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).Experience in production and packaging.Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least 2 years of experience in food manufacturing (1 year minimum considered).Production experience is advantageous.Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems is a plus.Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work is conducted in a production facility where bottles are filled with flavored syrup, capped, labeled, and packed. The facility operates with four lines and typically staffs four to ten people per line. The environment is maintained at room temperature, and safety equipment such as hair and beard nets and safety glasses are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Leandro, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
