Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
Join our team as a Production Worker where you will utilize hand tools and a tape measure to follow work instructions and assemble various components of flooring and drop ceiling products. While all lifting will be done as a team, you should be comfortable lifting up to 30-35lbs independently a few times per shift. Opportunities for machinery training are available upon hiring.
Responsibilities
Learn and understand all equipment and machinery within the Ceiling Grid department.Position parts and monitor equipment operations while maintaining established production standards.Inspect panels or parts to ensure they meet quality specifications and notify appropriate personnel of any issues.Accurately complete production reporting and quality paperwork as required.Use banding equipment and hand-jacks for proper movement or storage of products or materials.Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to established safety procedures.Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including the Employee Handbook, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual.Maintain awareness of and contribute to quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.Essential Skills
Experience with hand tools and tape measure.General labor experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with power tools and machine operation is a plus.Familiarity with micrometers and calipers is advantageous.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Lion, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.75 - $18.35/hr.
