We are seeking diligent candidates to work in our manufacturing environment, creating quality windows and patio doors. All candidates will be cross-trained in multiple areas within the facility.

ResponsibilitiesDouble Hung: Involves heavy lifting, repetitive work, and requires the ability to read schedules/labels.Direct Set: Requires the ability to work independently, learn about different materials and colors, and read paperwork and labels.CSMT: Role involves using a sash hanger, tape measure, and reading schedules.Patio Door (open): Involves heavier lifting and tape measure use.
Essential SkillsExperience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment (minimum 6 months)Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inchSolid attendance record

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in West Des Moines, Iowa. Our 1st shift runs from 6am-2:30pm, five days a week, with current working hours at 32-40 per week. During busy seasons, expect 50-hour work weeks with 2 required Saturdays a month. The manufacturing environment spans three facilities which are not temperature controlled, leading to varying temperatures. The average team size is about 100 employees per facility. Dress code requires work-appropriate shirts, jeans or shorts, and mandatory steel-toed shoes. Shift schedules include 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm, and a new 2nd shift schedule from Mon-Thurs. 4:30pm-1am, with initial training on 1st shift. Current schedule involves working 32-40 hours a week, preparing for a busier season with 50-hour weeks, including some Saturdays. The facilities are not temperature controlled, and the workforce consists of about 100 employees per facility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
