Production Test Technician III
Location: Loveland, CO (Onsite)
Hiring Range: $29.52 – $34.92 per hour
Schedule: Must be flexible to support off-shifts or Saturdays as needed
Job Summary
The Production Test Technician III provides advanced technical, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting support to drive continuous improvement across the Operations group. This role responds to production-halting problems, partners with engineering to resolve test stand issues, and acts as the front-line troubleshooting resource—down to component-level repairs on circuit boards when required. The Technician also supports training, preventive maintenance, and the development of new tools, fixtures, and methods to ensure high performance and uptime.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and improvement tasks across production systems
Troubleshoot complex technical, electrical, and mechanical issues
Collaborate with engineering to resolve test stand and equipment problems
Provide training, documentation, and guidance to end users
Request or provide purchased tools and equipment as authorized
Coordinate the implementation of tools, jigs, fixtures, and corrective actions
Complete preventive maintenance activities to maximize uptime
Develop and implement new technologies, methods, and techniques
Design jigs, guards, and fixtures to improve processes and safety
Provide direction for development, maintenance, and operational procedures
Support production needs by working off-shifts or weekends when required
Minimum Requirements
4+ years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment
Associate’s degree or equivalent technical experience
Advanced technical and mechanical problem-solving skills
Ability to recognize and solve non-routine problems with limited direction
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey detailed technical information effectively, both written and verbal
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate: $29.52 – $34.92 (Colorado range; final pay may vary based on qualifications and experience)
