Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.** **Purpose of the role** To support our Test Bed operations by carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, calibration and testing of instrumentation, control and monitoring systems on pump packages. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of performance testing and data acquisition. **Your main tasks and responsibilities** + Carry out maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and data acquisition systems, including Bently Nevada vibration probes using 3500 racks and System 1 software. + Work with temperature probes, temperature and pressure transmitters, and Allen Bradley PLC Flex IO (RSLogix experience an advantage). + Wire pump packages and perform system checks in preparation for performance testing. + Read and interpret Instrument Wiring Diagrams and P&IDs to ensure accurate installation and maintenance. + Support the Test Bed team in fault-finding, repairs, and continuous improvement of electrical and instrumentation systems. **To succeed in this role, you will need:** + Apprenticeship training in an electrical discipline, ideally with knowledge of control and monitoring systems. + Ability to work from Instrument Wiring Diagrams and P&IDs. + Experience in maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and data acquisition systems. + Knowledge of Bently Nevada vibration probes, temperature/pressure transmitters, and Allen Bradley PLC Flex IO desirable. + Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work safely and effectively in a busy production environment. + Flexibility, teamwork and a proactive approach to problem solving. **What we offer you** + Competitive basic salary + Inclusion in a company-wide bonus scheme + 33 days of annual leave + Defined pension contribution + Confidential support through Employee Assistance Programmes + Access to a wide range of discounts on shopping, entertainment, and lifestyle + Opportunity to apply for Costco membership for exclusive offers + Discounted personal car leasing for employees, family, and friends + Long Service Awards to celebrate employee longevity + Continuous learning and development through Sulzer Learning Pathways + Free, secure onsite parking, including electric charging facilities **Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
