Job Title: Production TechnicianJob Description

The Production Technician will safely and efficiently manage the operation of plasma reactors according to production schedules. This role involves monitoring and adjusting reactor parameters in real-time to optimize performance and output quality, operating and cleaning production equipment, and ensuring the produced fertilizers meet predefined quality standards.

ResponsibilitiesOperate and clean production equipment, including reactors, pumps, tanks, blenders, and absorbers.Perform diversified tasks to install and maintain production machinery and plant facilities.Conduct regular maintenance of reactors and associated equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.Conduct tests and inspections to verify products' composition, effectiveness, and safety.Work closely with engineers to refine production techniques and suggest improvements.Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and environmental regulations.Participate in safety drills and training sessions to maintain a clean and safe work environment.Maintain accurate production data records and generate reports for management review.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of new fertilizer formulations or production methods.Essential SkillsMechanical skills and proficiency in using power tools.Ability to wear a respirator and adhere to safety protocols.Strong understanding of chemical processes applicable to chemical industrial operations.Experience in mechanical installation, working with hoses, cords, tubing, and PVC piping.Forklift operation skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with hand tools and general production knowledge.Troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge.Ability to perform heavy lifting.Scissor lift operation experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a start-up setting in a big warehouse that can be cold or hot at times. Employees are required to wear PPE, including safety glasses. Shift times are Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Thursday to Monday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
